Meet The Team
At Sprouts NW, our mission is to support each child’s unique journey through compassionate, expert care that helps them grow, move, and thrive.
-
We believe that therapy works best when families are actively involved. Parents and caregivers are partners in the process, from setting goals to celebrating progress, because your insights and support are essential to your child’s success.
-
Our care is grounded in research, experience, and ongoing learning. We’re committed to providing high-quality, evidence-based physical therapy tailored to each child’s unique needs, while always striving for the best possible outcomes
-
We’re proud to be a locally owned and operated clinic, deeply rooted in Whatcom County. Supporting our neighbors and being a trusted part of this community isn’t just what we do—it’s who we are.
-
Children learn best through movement and play. That’s why every session at Sprouts NW is designed to be engaging and fun—so kids feel motivated, safe, and excited to grow in ways that feel natural to them.
Dr. Bryce Blaser, DPT
Founder & Pediatric Physical Therapist
Originally from Moline, Illinois, Bryce holds a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and a Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training from Southwest Baptist University in Missouri. He moved to Whatcom County in 2017 to begin his career in pediatric physical therapy and has been proudly serving local families ever since.
In 2020, Bryce founded Sprouts NW in response to the growing need for accessible, child-focused therapy in the region. He’s passionate about providing compassionate, evidence-based care, with clinical interests in developmental motor delays, neurological conditions, and family-centered therapy approaches.
Outside the clinic, Bryce enjoys playing soccer, mountain biking, and spending time with his wife Johanna (married in 2023), their cat Nova, and their newborn son James. He’s also an active member of his church community and values the meaningful role his faith plays in both life and work.
Johanna Blaser
Secretary
Johanna supports Sprouts NW with a wide range of behind-the-scenes administrative tasks. She manages scheduling and oversees billing and invoicing to help keep operations running smoothly. In addition to her work with Sprouts NW, Johanna is a full-time critical care RN at a local hospital.
A lifelong Whatcom County resident, Johanna met Bryce in 2021, and the two were married in September 2023. They recently welcomed their first child, a baby boy, and are embracing the joys of parenthood.
Outside of work, Johanna enjoys hiking, reading on the beach, wine tasting, playing games, and most of all, spending time with family and friends.
